Dates & Deadlines

• First day to submit Absentee Ballot Request forms to the Auditor's Office - Tuesday, August 25
• Filing Deadline - Wednesday, August 26

• Voter Pre-Registration Deadline - Monday, October 19

Extended Hours

Extended and Saturday hours are available for voter registration and absentee voting in the Worth County Auditor's Office. In addition to regular hours of Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., extended office hours during the 2026 General Election season will be as follows:

• Friday, August 21 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, August 26 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Thursday, September 17 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Monday, October 19 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Friday, October 30 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday, October 31 - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, November 3 - 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Thursday, November 12 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Candidate Filing Information

County Soil and Water District Commission

• Affidavit of Candidacy and Nomination Petition with at least 25 signatures from the conservation district required.
  Can file anytime through Wednesday, August 26

Agricultural Extension Council

• Affidavit of Candidacy and Nomination Petition with at least 25 signatures from the extension district required.
  Can file anytime through Wednesday, August 26
