General Election
A General Election is the election in which federal and state officers, members of Congress and of the general assembly, county and township officers, and other officers appear on the ballot. General Elections are held the 1st Tuesday after the 1st Monday in November of each even-numbered year.

Extended Hours
Extended and Saturday hours are available for voter registration and absentee voting in the Worth County Auditor's Office. In addition to regular hours of Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., extended office hours during the 2026 General Election season will be as follows:
- Friday, August 21 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, August 26 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Thursday, September 17 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Monday, October 19 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Friday, October 30 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday, October 31 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, November 3 - 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Thursday, November 12 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
